What Does the Permanent Makeup Evaluation Do?

Our Permanent Makeup Consultation is a comprehensive appointment designed for individuals considering permanent makeup services and seeking personalized guidance. During this visit, your provider will review your medical history, assess the treatment area, discuss technique options, and set realistic expectations to determine the most appropriate treatment plan.

This consultation is required for all new permanent makeup clients prior to treatment.

The consultation fee is $150 and may be applied toward a permanent makeup service when booked within 30 days of the consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this required before permanent makeup?

No, it's optional but highly recommended. If you're ready, book your initial session—it includes a full consult. However, if you are not a candidate for the treatment, Renuva has a $100 non-service fee for patients who book without consultations.

Does this consultation include any actual treatment?

No, it's informational only. Actual procedures are scheduled separately. If there happens to be time that day and you are a candidate for the treatment, Renuva may be able to move forward with the treatment.

What’s the cancellation policy for this consultation?

No refunds or reschedules for no-shows or late cancels. Deposits are forfeited in such cases of late cancels without 48 hours notice. If canceled with more than 48 hours notice, your deposit will remain an account credit for you to use towards a future treatment or service.

What’s included in this evaluation?

A detailed discussion of goals, color matching, and process overview by one of our permanent makeup specialists. You will leave understanding the processes, touch ups and future maintenance plans. If needed, mapping or color selection may take place, but this is usually reserved for the day of your treatment.

Can I decide not to proceed after the evaluation?

Absolutely. It’s designed to help you make an informed choice with no obligation to proceed. The consultation fee covers the information and time used for the consultation, regardless of your choice to move forward. If you would like to proceed, your $150 consultation fee will be applied towards any treatment or product in the next 30 days.

Will Permanent Makeup hurt?

Patients may experience a mild discomfort during the treatment. Numbing products will be safely applied to the skin prior and during treatment to ensure comfort. After the treatment, patients may experience some mild tenderness for a few hours.

What if I need removal first?

It is common to need laser removal if you have already had previous permanent makeup done. We will discuss this during your consultation and you may use your consultation deposit towards a series of removal if needed.
